Answers to your questions about The Roost

Do you allow dogs at your hotel?

We allow a well behaved dog in our standard double rooms.

Our dog friendly rooms are:
– Room 1 -The Maran
– Room 7 -The Padovana

Any damage caused by your dog is payable by you.

How far is the property from the M5 motorway?

The Roost is just a 2 minute drive from the M5 motorway making it perfect for onward travel to Cornwall.

Is parking available at the property?

Currently there is onsite parking, however this is a temporary arrangement and will not be for the long term.

There is a however a large public car park very close to the property.

What is the check-in and check-out time?

Check-in is from 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 11:00 AM.

If you need flexible times, feel free to contact us in advance, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs. We need advance notice to ensure the room is clean and ready for your stay.

Do you offer breakfast?

No, we do not offer breakfast, however there are two excellent cafes within a 1 minute walk.

Room 2 – The Wellsummer, Room 3 – The Brahma, Room 4 – The Orpington, Room 5 – The Silkie and Room 6 – The Frizzle have a fridge for your use.

Is the property family friendly?

Yes, we have a lovely 4 guest family room with full sized bunk beds and a kingsize bed. A travel cot is available upon request.

Is there an iron in the room?

We have now added a Phillips handheld steamer in all of our deluxe rooms. Very easy to use and super helpful for those attending a local wedding or formal event.
